Pomegranate Seed Oil

Fights Acne 
Pomegranate seed oil possesses both anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to clear up symptoms of acne, such as pimples and associated redness. By exerting its effects on bacterial growth, pimples often are unable to form in the first instance, so outbreaks of pimples are less frequent. 

Antioxidants 
Pomegranate oil is rich in antioxidants, is an excellent moisturizing agent, and has a higher antioxidant activity than red wine and like green tea in its antioxidant levels(1) It helps to neutralize free radical damage from the sun, can promote collagen synthesis, and reduce the signs of aging and wrinkles. 

Chemo preventative  
A compound found in pomegranate seed oil known as Punicic acid, has shown exciting potential in stopping the growth of cancer cells or cells with pre-cancerous potential. Studies have shown that Pomegranate seed oil works as a chemo preventative. (2) Meaning that it cannot only help fight against cancer forming but may also help reverse post damage(3) from the sun. Pomegranate seed oil contains a high concentration of ellagic acid.

Improves elasticity
